My name is Jeannette Sangster and I am 51 years old, married a little over 32 years.  What prompted this website is my desire to show women (and men) how to maintain their looks and health as we get older.  There are many other reasons, as you will see and learn, as you continue to view this website.  (The above picture is me at age 37.  As you have seen "current" pictures of me in this site, very little has changed over the course of the years, dispelling the myth that women over age 40 are fat, wrinkled and just plain old!). 

My everyday contact with people I know, along with others I do not know, played a significant role in this website.  Everywhere I go, 100 percent of the time, I am mistaken for years younger than I actually am.  Males and females alike are amazed at my overall ability to defy time.  They all ask the same questions:  "HOW DO YOU DO IT?"  "WHAT'S YOUR SECRET?"  They want to know what I eat, what I drink, how much I sleep, how much exercise I get, etc., etc.  So I've tried to cover a myriad of daily activities that will encourage all women (and men) 40 years of age - and those approaching the 40's range - to love themselves enough, to do what I've done, to one day also be able to say "I'M OVER 40 AND LOVING IT!"

There are five golden rules that I use to maintain my youthfulness:

1.  Maintain a Healthy Diet.  As we get older and the metabolism slows to a crawl, watching what we eat is extremely important.

2.  Exercise.  You don't have to over-indulge, just find the time (approximately 30 minutes) perhaps 3 days out of a week to do some type of exercise . . . whether its aerobic, jogging, weight lifting, or (my favorite above) dance.  Just put your body in motion and burn those calories!

3.  Skin Care System.  It doesn't matter which system you choose, a skin care system is mandatory as we mature.

4.  Reduce Stress.  Stress not only leads to aging quickly, but it can also lead to health problems.  Do all possible to eliminate stress from your life.

5.  Stay Out of the Sun.  The sun is your enemy!  To reduce its aging effects, always administer sun blocking products while exposed to its rays.

Follow my golden rules and you, too, can be OVER 40 AND LOVING IT!
